Dear Fellowship of Love Pantry Clients.
Due to the closure of the Three Square Agency. Our food pantry distribution will be closed until further notice. Below we have more information on community resources.
The mission of the Fellowship of Love Pantry is to assist people by providing supplemental food to the needy in the community where the church is located Typically these people have been impacted by financial problems as a result of unemployment (lay-offs & downsizing), divorce, disability, health, domestic violence, homelessness, disaster, aging and rising cost of living. We gather, store, and distribute goods to those who find themselves in time of special need and crisis.
Our mission is based on a compassionate hand out and hand up as we respect the dignify of each person we serve. We seek to bring a measure of love and peace through sharing the blessings fo food and other resources with those who are in need. We see in our neighbors the face of God and ace with resolve to ensure that basic needs of life are met.
Our mission is usually "Short Term" help; long term relief is usually outside the scope of our mission.
In all cases, modeling the loving and compassionate character of Jesus is to be as much a part of out mission as the tangible food that we give. This mission is to be carried out by a volunteer work force.
